"I don't even know why we finally decided on an unusual programme with works by Nielsen and Mozart, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to come up with music that the orchestra doesn't usually move in and to play something new," says Alan Gilbert, who makes his debut with the Czech Philharmonic this year.
